• The response of an audience is spontaneous (even when the response is boredom), and with rare exception (as when large numbers of friends and relatives are present), can be considered just. If the actors realize that they do not face a “put-on” response, they can then play with the audience as they would with another team. An actor can be reassured, “If they were a bad audience, then, of course, they deserve to be punished.”
This is really interesting and I am currently writing my dissertation on Theatersports. I was wondering when this Interview took place?
