Making the Invisible, Visible

This is the first attempt with Difficulty with a Small Object. The group is new to this and we will return to this later when the group has had more time with Space to see the difference. I watch for focus on the problem and coach to put all your attention on the problen. I watch to see nothing is ‘performed’ or ‘playwritten’ for the benefit of the audience. It’s a good opportunity to show that full focus on the problem creates stage business and consequently allows the scene to emerge. Do not ask students to make a  scene at this stage. It is for making space clear and visible. Asking for a context will condition them toward making ‘story. or ‘playwriting’.
